Talon Salon 2013 & Banana Girl

The You Are Here Festival in Canberra will be re-mounting Talon Salon in March 2013. Yay! The partner salon is Gentle Nails in Garema Place, and the owner is bright, supportive and gets what the project is aspiring to. The producers at YAH are pretty awesome too. Who knew my hometown would be such a great place to re-mount a work.

Transit Lounge will be publishing my first ever book ‘Banana Girl’. It’s a creative non-fiction autobiography. I think it’ll be the first book of its kind by an Australian Hmong person. It will come out in 2013.
